We live in the Upper Cooper Creek area which is about an hour's drive to the west. I was flying with a friend along the valley and we saw what we believed were two Yowies in a clearing. It was the most incredible sight.

We've heard about a few sightings from our neighbors from some years ago. We are at Mt Warning and our neighbours are 4th generation farmers who swear by the yowie's existence. They told us they would come right up to the farmhouse in the early days.
