In January 2021 a truck driver encounters a large Yowie animal on the Clagoa Creek bridge in Calgoa QLD. Calgoa is a sparsely populated rural district in the Fraser Coast region of Queensland Australia.

Truck driver Steven recalls strange howls when he pulled off the road to check his load at Darr Creek in QLD in June 2018. Darr Creek is located in the Western Downs region of QLD and has a population of 18, possibly more according to Peter's account. Here is Peters account accompanied by a second report and sighting in the same region towards Durong where we have also received reports of Yowie activity.
In the evening of July 2014 Romney and his girlfriend Katrina had stopped their campervan and set up camp for the night by the roadside in the Teebar region of Wide Bay Queensland. As they lay in their bed, their night was disrupted by what they believe was a Yowie outside their van causing them to flee in fright.
Teebar is a locality in the Fraser Coast Region, Queensland. In a recent census, Teebar had a population of 43 people. Yowie activivity has been reported throughout Teebar and surrounding districts for many years. Our blog has eye witness yowie sighting reports from this region.
